How do we get to your Hotel from the Airport in Frankfurt by car?
From the airport on you can just follow the blue signs towards "Basel" via A5 or A67.
After a 15 minutes drive you will reach the autobahn junction "Darmstadt" and from there you can follow the traffic signs on A5 to the autobahn junction "Heidelberg" where
our Hotel's directions start.
It is very simple and the drive takes about 1 hour.
How does the direct shuttle from the Airport in Frankfurt directly to your Hotel work?
You just have to fill out the
Order Form for the shuttle and to fax it to us.
We then forward it to the company that fulfills this service.
All you need to do is to go the the "Meeting Point" at your Terminal (Terminal 1: red pillar) where the shuttle service welcomes you and takes you to Heidelberg and to our Hotel in small groups.
By giving your flight details the shuttle service knows whether you'll arrive at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 and can react if your flight is delayed.
How do we get to your Hotel from the Airport in Hahn by car?
Though the airport is named "Frankfurt-Hahn" it is not really near Frankfurt or the Frankfurt Airport but in the west of Wiesbaden and Mainz.
To get to Heidelberg and to our Hotel you drive from the airport to the east on the federal road B50 to "Rheinböllen" where you get on Highway A61 towards "Bad Kreuznach/Mannheim/Ludwigshafen".
At the autobahn junction "Frankenthal" you drive to the east on A6 towards Viernheim.
At the autobahn junction "Viernheim" you proceed on A6 to the south and towards Mannheim and at the junction "Mannheim" you change to the A656 and drive to the east to the junction "Heidelberg" where
our Hotel's directions start.
The drive takes about 2 hours.
How does the shuttle bus from the Airport in Hahn to Heidelberg work?
Now there is also a shuttle bus from the Airport in Hahn to Heidelberg available 3 times a day.
You can find more information on this service
here.
After your arrival at the Heidelberg Train Station you take a taxi or the tram to our Hotel.
Directions by public transport from Heidelberg Main Station to our Hotel can you find

Do your rooms have Internet-Access?
With us you have not less than 4 alternatives to connect to the Internet:
- via Modem
- via ISDN
- via Data Network/Ethernet
- via Wireless LAN
You can dial the Internet in all our rooms via German Telecom's telephone network.
All our hotel rooms have modem sockets and in some rooms also ISDN sockets (Euro-ISDN respectivly DSS1) are available.
We even offer our guests high-speed internet access (up to 12 times faster than ISDN or up to 20 times faster than an analog modem) which our guests can use via our Hotel's data network (Fast-Ethernet) or even our new wireless LAN (WLAN 802.11b/"Wi-Fi").
The configuration is all done automatically (DHCP) and you don't even need to register with an online provider yourself! (WEP+ encryption is optionally available on request.)
All you only need is your laptop and the online adapter you wish to use. We also have adapters to connect foreign modems to the telephone line.
If you wish to use the wireless LAN high-speed internet access but you do not have an integrated or separate wireless LAN card for your laptop can you rent such a PC-Card from us for the time of your stay.
Please inform us in advance if you are interested in using ISDN or the direct high-speed internet access.
Connected to your high-speed internet access it is not possible to use so called "filesharing software" like Napster, Kazaa or eDonkey to prevent copyright conflicts.
Can I connect to my company's Intranet via "Virtual Private Network" (VPN) when using your High-Speed Internet Access (via Wireless LAN or Ethernet)?
Of course we like to enable you to work and communicate easily with your company while you stay in our Hotel.
Because you use our High-Speed-Internet-Access you have to consider that we deny all connections coming from the Internet to your computer for security reasons as this is done in every company Intranet.
Special applications as e.g. VPN connections could have problems with this.
About the following VPN methods can we give you a concrete information:
- IPSec (the one and only VPN standard): should work
- PPTP (proprietary Microsoft VPN solution, shipped with Windows): successfully tested
- Cisco VPN Dialer (VPN solution from Cisco based on IPSec): successfully tested
- Checkpoint VPN SecuRemote: successfully tested
Of course your company has to offer such a service and you must have the permission to use it to be able to connect to your company's Intranet via VPN.
Only your company can help you to set up such a connection on your PC.
You should have this set up and tested successfully in your company before you start your journey.

Order Form.
What happens if we really have to cancel our booking?
A booking in a hotel is a contract that includes that the hotel provides the room for the period of time that was agreed upon and the guest pays the price for this service.
If a party can not fulfill their obligation it can by german law held liable therefor.
In practice this means that we can not just cancel your booking short-term before arrival and you also can not.
Of course we understand that there might be reasons that you have to change your plans and your booking with us but then we expect you to inform us immediately about the change to give us the chance to take a new booking.
Hotelrooms that remain empty unnecessarily are not part of our costing and we will not put that on all our guests by raising the rates therefore.
The alternative which is used by large chain hotels is to plan with a certain number of cancelations and to take more bookings than they actually have rooms.
This is inacceptable for us because it means that if the strategy fails guests suddenly have to move to other hotels and this is a very annoying procedure for the ones who are affected.
For these reasons we can only accept your cancelation at no charge if it is for a major reason and you inform us about it as soon as you can.
